Chapter History

"A sister is one who will always be there to pick you up, and when she can't she will lie down beside you and listen."

Epsilon Chapter of Phi Mu was founded in 1914. It was the first Greek letter organization at Millsaps College and one of the first Phi Mu chapters after Phi Mu began national expansion. Our chapter has participants in almost every Millsaps organization including music groups, volunteer organizations, honoraries, and sports teams. Our chapter holds many campus-wide and community-wide philanthropic events, many supporting Phi Mu's national philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We are Phi Mu's longest continually-operating chapter in the country.  We have a long history, a wonderful presence, and a very bright future both at Millsaps and nationally!
